- I have been asked a lot, how do I have a radio show? I didn't go to grad school. I didn't intern my way up a production studio. I didn't do a certification. You want to know my secret? I was consistent with my outreach every day. I would always post on my social media platforms, in particular LinkedIn, some helpful content on media trends. I would also reach out to successful people and say, "Can I get a quote from you?" Or "Can I do a informal interview?" Something that wouldn't take more than a few minutes of their time, 'cause I would write an email out and they would send me back their answers. One day, someone noticed one of my content posts and said, "Why don't you audition for a radio show?" That's how I did it. You can apply that same concept with the work that you're trying to do. Reach out to three people every day and simply send them something helpful or just say, "How can I help you?" I suggest you do…
