The connection between passion, purpose, and flow

- For my entire career, I've been working to find that balance between passion and purpose, while also creating a sense of alignment and flow in my life. There's a Japanese concept called ikigai. That means a reason for being, which encapsulates what I was searching for. It refers to having a direction or purpose in life, which makes life worthwhile. Ikigai gives a person a sense of satisfaction and meaning as they work toward that overarching goal. It can be seen as the conversions of passion, mission, profession, and vocation. There are some common characteristics, such as an increased focus and feeling that time is slipping away. You're persistent when others might be cautious about what you're doing. You feel a strong mind-body connection between yourself and your work. And you feel that work is an expansion of who you are. So how do you create this connection and more flow in your work?
