- There are multiple was to follow up after a sales meeting. Email, phone, text, invitations to webinars and so on. The best strategy is to get your prospect to tell you the best way to reach them. But if that channel isn't working, you still need to keep the ball rolling. Of all the available options, phone calls are the most effective since they offer you a chance to have a one-on-one conversation with your prospect. That is if they pick up. More often than not, you miss them with a phone call. Ended up going straight to voicemail. Now while many reps see this as a loss, I see a great opportunity here.
