- You are busy. I am busy. The people reading your emails are busy. And do you know what busy people hate? To be interrupted. They especially don't like to be interrupted for no reason or by someone who's adding to their workload. On the other hand, if you interrupt them with a plate of homemade cookies or with a genuine emergency, then you are a welcome interruption. But what if you don't have any cookies? Be entertaining.
