Your product life cycle
- As you develop your product, there are phases when unique roles and individuals will work with you to complete each step. There are many, many different types of product life cycles that exist in different industries. Books, seminars, and even certification programs have been built up around certain programs like Scrum or Six Sigma. I'm going to use a simple generic version that has worked for me on my projects and is somewhat of a best of from many other programs that I've used in my career. It is important to think of a life cycle as, well, a cycle. It isn't a line with a start point and an end point, it's a circle. You get on a certain point and then you continue to go around the circle with each version or sprint that you create.
