- Let's talk pricing for a second. In my opinion, from what I've experienced and what I've seen, here's a breakdown of what you can make as a speaker. If you're a beginner and you're just getting started, maybe you don't have any footage yet, you can start speaking for free and get paid up to $2,500. If you're speaking at least five times a year, you could get paid anywhere from $2,500 to $5k. If you're speaking pretty regularly and maybe you have footage and some testimonials to support it, you can make anywhere from five to $10,000. But if you're an in-demand, polished speaker with a killer video and testimonials from big brands, you can make over $10,000 a gig. But when you're weighing an event, here's some things outside of money you should consider. Could other people in the audience book me? Does this company have the opportunity to book me again?
