- So you really are your own brand, and the way to think about this is to think who am I? What do I love to do? What are my strengths? And it kind of brings me back to where I was when I was starting out. And I went to a liberal arts college, I was an English major. Absolutely not a clue about how that would translate into an actual career. And what I realized through exploring further, is that I'm a people person. I know I am, and I sort of found that public relations would be something that would play to my strong suit. And I remember even in one of the interviews saying I'm a people person. That is not something that you all should say 'cause it might make you seem a little like a lightweight, and it's kind of out of fashion, that phrase. But what it means is important.
