- The inspirational leader admits that they don't know everything. I think in the past, maybe leaders had to be an all-knowing God. But I think nowadays, the modern world, we know that not everyone knows everything. And I think it's better to be honest and admit that you don't know everything. However many years ago, somebody said to me, relationship is like operating a jig borer which is a type of machine that drills very accurate holes. And apparently jig borers are really difficult to use. I don't actually know why, but apparently it takes years to really master the use of a jig borer. And this bloke said to me, "You can't do my job. You can't operate a jig borer. So why are you in charge of me?" And I thought that's quite an interesting question, actually.
