- So just some final thoughts on overcoming that objection. The main thing to remember is that it's not a bad thing. If anything, it's a good thing. It means that they're using the product that you sell, just your competitor's one. They understand the value of that particular product, they're willing to sign into a contract, it's perfect. So make sure you know your enemy and how to sell against them, and then win that business. And just so you know, this was a time objection, but also potentially authority. Time because you've called them at the wrong time, but make sure you call at the right time, and authority because they may not have the power to change that contract. So make sure you are speaking to the right person for when that day comes. Now, let's jump onto the next objection.
