- [Instructor] Lean counting in practice isn't complete without road testing it with your stakeholders. One of the best vehicles that management accountants can produce to provide key insights to stakeholders is something called a box score. A box score is an at-a-glance performance summary that shows key facets of the business known as value streams. What you're looking at is a completed box score for a toy manufacturer. Specifically, for the large toy cars value stream. The box score is broken down into three categories, performance indicators, resource capacity, and financial performance. Each one of these categories provides a different lens of value stream performance.
