- [Instructor] When it comes to the foundation and basement section of our repair estimate sheet, this is the area that in general scope it's covering the support of our dwelling. Whether it's a basement or a raised foundation, or even a solid slab, these two sections right here are going to cover the basic foundation or the basic structure of our property. Now, on the foundation side, just like when we were looking around the exterior of our property, we want to be searching for cracks around the exterior foundation or maybe even any irregular surfaces or sloped floors when we're walking around the inside to help kind of clue us in there may be an issue. If we can get into the basement, if our property has a basement, we've got some typical line item repair numbers and repair clauses that are common in most basements.
