Which certifications are best for you?
- You know there are a lot of supply chain certifications to choose from, and they've all got strengths and weaknesses. I've tried to give you a pretty broad overview. Hopefully you heard some things that got you excited and I suspect some of them may have sounded, well uninteresting. That's fine. Now you need to decide which certifications are the best fit for you. And the first question you need to answer is why do I want to get certified at all. Now you don't have to get certified just to learn about a new subject. You can take courses and read books, and become an expert on your own. So, what's the value of getting a certification? I think there are three main reasons that people get certified. They're trying to prove to themselves that they've mastered a subject or they're trying to prove it to their colleagues or they're trying to prove that they're a subject matter expert to an employer.
