What you should know about agile leadership
- Is leadership an art or a science? What do you think? Well, for me, I began my career with the firm belief that leadership is a set of processes or steps that I could learn, like riding a bicycle or ice skating. I've since learned that cycling and skating have an artistic element that, quite frankly, I struggle with. Leadership is the same. It has scientific steps and practices, but it's also an art that must be honed with focus and practice. This course will focus on both the science and art of leadership. The lens we'll be looking through is an Agile one. So before starting on this course, I recommend you have a firm understanding of Agile practices, the Agile Manifesto, and Agile values. This foundation will be essential for you to apply the scientific aspects of leadership and creatively apply them to your Agile teams and situations.
