- Wouldn't it be great if you could generate new clients without even trying? Even better, can you imagine making sales while you sleep? Let me start by saying this doesn't happen overnight, but in order to make this dream a reality, you need a website. Your website should be giving someone a reason to believe that you are the right person for the job. You can show your personality with a well written bio or you can highlight what it's like to work with you through client testimonials, case studies, or a portfolio. And if you have a unique perspective on something, you can share blogs and video content, too. If someone lands on your website before talking to you, you want them to leave thinking I need to talk to this person. And if someone visits your website after talking to you, you want them to leave thinking wow, this person really is the real deal, I have to work with them.
