- As we complete our project message, we thought through the problem that triggered the business case. Then, we identified the solution and aligned on how we'll get there. Now, we must ask our leaders, "Why?" What's the desired outcome of this work effort? What do you want the organization to look like when the project is successful? The vibe of this word should be aspirational, hopeful and exciting. It should feel like you've been on a journey within this workshop and you're now coming full circle. To identify your outcome word ask, "What word best describes a state that is opposite of the problem state?" In our school district example, there are several contenders for the outcome word. For instance, confident, informed, transparent and synergy.
