- For years, I struggled to establish running as a habit. I went on solo runs, I read books on the subject, but I just couldn't make running stick. It wasn't until I realized that I'm really motivated by the social aspect of running that something new clicked. After that, I started doing large group runs, I joined a vibrant online group, I began to swap stories and tips with other runners, and I got better.
