What investors look for
- Now let's take a look at what investors are looking for in your pricing strategy overall. So the first thing is is it realistic. Is your pricing realistic, does it make sense. Will customers actually pay what you're suggesting they're going to pay. In their brains they're going to be actually processing on that. They're going to see if they would actually pay for that same product or service that you're offering as well. The second thing is are you using the correct pricing model. Is the pricing model cost-based, value-based, or market-based consistent with the rest of the industry, and does it make sense? Also they're going to look at feasibility. They really want to know whether or not your margins actually work. And this is the key thing. This is the number one thing they're going to look at is your direct margin.
