What does a product owner do?

- One of the big challenges in an Agile project is setting priorities and deciding what to do next. Whether it's a push to add features and functions or an effort to increase speed and efficiency, you just can't do everything all at once. In Agile, the product owner navigates these pressures by balancing what your customers want with your business strategy and your capabilities. In many ways, the product owner is similar to a project sponsor in a traditional waterfall project. But in Agile projects, the most important job for the product owner is prioritizing user stories. In other words, the product owner has to decide which features get added to the product at all. And by setting the priorities, they ensure that the team is always focused on doing tasks that will create the most value for the customer.
