- Have you ever misunderstood the lyrics of a song in a funny way? Larisa Cole has a great example. In Louis Armstrong's amazing song called, What a Wonderful World, there is this line, the bright blessed day and the dark sacred night. As a kid, she thought it was, the bright blessed day and the dog's say goodnight. I like both of 'em. Can't help it. I like the idea of talking dogs. Like a song lyric, people use the word connect in various ways. And there's another meaning I want you to always have in mind. But first, some of the usual ways connect is used. One, to meet someone, to interact for the first time. I just connected with her. Two, the early phase of interacting. Small talk, building rapport, getting a converstion going, and being comfortable with each other. We started to connect.
