- Now we know what decisions we're talking about in this course. Decisions where we are operating with less than complete certainty. I mean, if we had 100% knowledge, we don't need to talk about those kinds of decisions, right? So let's go to the end of the process, after the decision is made and the results are in. How do we know if we made a good decision? While I don't know anything about the specific decisions you might be thinking about now, here are some general criteria you should always consider. Good decisions achieve desired outcomes. Like, you know what you're trying to achieve, right? Good decisions get those outcomes, whether it's greater profitability or reliability or quality or customer satisfaction, it could be lots of things.
