- Our natural instinct when someone says, how am I doing is to say good job but that doesn't help us get meaningful actionable feedback. So if you want to really know how to improve, how to take your game to the next level, how to continually be better at what you do you've got to ask a different question. One of the most important pieces about the feedback strategy is knowing how to ask the right questions. So ditch the, how am I doing or how do you think that went and replace it with a more specific set of questions.
