We all have blind spots
- Have you ever been behind someone who has a label sticking out of their collar, you know, in the back where they can't see it? It's awkward to let them know or fix it for them but I know I'd appreciate it if someone let me know. That's an example of a blind spot, something that we can't see but is often evident to others. We all have blind spots. We live our lives through the filter of our own experiences and biases. We each see things a certain way framed like a picture by our own particular point of view and sometimes we forget that there's a frame. Rather than acknowledging that the picture is our unique perspective or our experience, we treat it like the truth and a blind spot is born.
