- One big deal about recording macros. The VBA is literal. Let me show you what I mean. One thing you got to know about recorded macros is they will record everything you do. Once you press record, Everything you do is going to be coded until you end the recording. Now I'm going to give you a very simple example just to drive this point home. You may never need a macro like this ever in life but it's about the point of it, okay? I'm in the developer tab. I'm going to record this macro. I'm going to name this macro "Tilt." You can use whatever shortcut command you would like. I'm going to go with Control + Shift + K. Okay. Now up top, we can see "Stop recording," that red square.
