- Sun Tzu, the author of "The Art of War" once said, "Every battle is won before it's ever fought." I love this quote and it reminded me about the power of visualization for success, because when you visualize what you want to do in advance, you can then take actions and make it happen. Instead of just running around like a hamster wheel just doing work, you're now working smart. Here's a simple way that I do this every morning. I do it in a meditation type of practice and I'll show you how. First step is you just close your mind, and then you ask yourself, what is that one year goal that you want from now? What does success mean to you basically? Is it more money? Is it increase in your job responsibilities? Is it going to another kind of company or role? Or is it even starting a business?
