Virtual process modeling: Prepare it
- You need to define, manage and execute a change effort, but to do that you rely on having a clear picture of what is happening today and where the organization wants to go. A key technique to achieve this is process modeling. Process models are visual representations of the actions or steps that are completed to perform a process or function. These can be simple or complex, showing just a few steps to display in lots of conditions in different users and entities. You can check out some of the courses on LinkedIn Learning for how to get proficient at many of the different notations. But when we do process modeling virtually we need to achieve three things, engagement, verification, and validation. I know it's a mouthful, but hang with me.
