If you think about the same things every day like whether to buy or bring your own lunch then you have a good idea for some decision modeling. Decision modeling is great for these decisions we make over and over again. And this is also where analysts often have the most challenges. So first you got to ask yourself if you're trying to model out how decisions are made, or if you're trying to just understand how a decision came to be made. Decision modeling shows the business logic. It shows how things work and just like process modeling, you can use decision modeling to show both current and future states.
