- Wow, you made it through a data modeling session. How did it go? Do you have some visuals on how data is organized how it's accessed or used? Then it was a success. Now there can be a lot going on when you run a virtual data modeling session, there probably were adjectives, and nouns that were flung all over the place. Now is the time to not only clean it up, but you can actually do a little analysis work here and flex your skills. This means making sure that all the related attributes for an entity are aligned under that entity, that new entities are created when referencing another data element, and those relationships are identified. And then identifying any attributes, even if they were not explicitly stated during the session. If your attendees had more information to share, asked for that feedback now. It might've been the first time ever seeing any kind of data model so they might not have been prepared.…
