Under the reports tab, you can view analytics related to your recommendations. This allows you to see how engaged your users are with the content you are suggesting to them.
- [Instructor] Another important resource related to your LinkedIn Learning analytics is the Recommendation History. Right now I'm under Reports, and I'm on the Dashboard but I want to switch over here to the next tab which is Recommendation History. Here it will show any courses, learning paths, any content that you've recommended to your users. And then it will break it down and give you information related to that. So in other words, during this course I have recommended a few different courses. You'll see here that there isn't any data because users haven't engaged with it yet, but as they do you'll have access here to see the total number of learners, what percentage of people have completed it, what percentage of people are in progress of watching it, how many haven't started and then what percentage have moved it into their history, meaning that they're done with the course.
Now some other things that you can see on this page, first of all here with the new rules of work this is something that I assigned a due date of January 31st. I can go ahead and remove this if I want. I can also change that due date. Over on the right hand side you'll see here that if I click on More actions I can download a detail report or actually delete this recommendation. So if I'm completely done here and I don't want this course recommended anymore, I can delete it. This Download Detail Report, if I click on it, will download this to my computer.
And if I open it up here you'll see first of all this spreadsheet that has in it the people that I have recommended it to. It has their email address. It also gives me things such as the recommendation date, the due date, what percentage that they've completed, whether or not they've marked it as complete. So this does give you a breakdown of more information. If there's a small number of learners, eight or less, you can click here on this tab and it will break it down to show you the results of who has completed it. In this case nobody has started it.
So if I click on Not started it will show me Allen and Mary. Now if I quickly wanted to navigate here and to see who had completed it I could do that. In this case it is nobody. So I suggest that you do recommend different courses, learning paths and other content to your users. And when you do use the Recommendation History tab to see how they're engaging with that content.
