Using time as a gauge

- You look at your calendar and it's filled to the brim with meetings. You have pockets of time between them, but spending time going through your to-do list to figure out what to do in those pockets just seems like a giant waste of time. But it doesn't have to be that way. Just start using time as a gauge for the tasks on your to-do list. Time is something you can count, even if you can't count on having as much of it as you want. But if you want to tackle your to-do list by grouping items by the time it will take to do them, then you can count on getting more of the right things done throughout the day. Here are three things to keep in mind when attaching time to the tasks on your to-do list. Number one, most of the time things will take longer to do than you think they will.
