- The Dalai Lama said, "In order to create "a positive action, we must develop a positive vision." Positivity's an absolute job requirement, and for ultimate success, you, as a leader, must have the desire to be positive first. We all want to work in a place we enjoy, where we feel valued for what we contribute. No one wants to feel like they're toiling away at a job they dislike. The upside of a positive work culture is supported by science and company performance. A 2017 Forbes article by William Craig reported that positive work cultures led to happier employees, promoted collaboration, and inspired creativity. From a corporate standpoint, a positive perspective should be present in each level of engagement, from the way you answer a phone and sign an email to how you treat each other and greet clients and guests.
