Use dynamic glue

- Dynamic glue in Visio occurs when you glue a dynamic connector to a shape and not to a connection point. To see how it operates, use the rectangle tool to draw two rectangles, then use the connector tool and glue each end of the connector to one of the rectangles. As an alternative, if you're working with a diagram like a flowchart that has AutoConnect turned on, you can use that feature to add a connector to the page because AutoConnect always creates dynamic glue. With dynamic glue in place, as you change the relative position of the two shapes on the page, Visio adjusts the location and confirmation of the dynamic connector. This is dynamic glue. Visio is in charge of the entry and exit points for each connector.
