Upcycle old stuff into new stuff

- I know a guy who actually makes money turning beer and wine bottles into drinking glasses. It's called upcycling. The San Diego Bottle Factory takes beer and liquor bottles and makes them into glasses, vases, and other objects that can be sold for more. You can do the same. Find something you can get for cheap or free and upcycle it. Turn someone else's trash into lamps, home decor or art. Sell that at local farmer's markets, swap meets and online. Your own site, Etsy, Craigslist, eBay, and even OfferUp. The potential income here is a couple hundred a month to 3 or $4,000 a month. To take action, look at what others upcycle and do the same. Or get inspired to do something that hasn't been tried yet. Get out there and start finding used items that you can improve or recreate.
