- There are a lot of great universities that offer certificates in logistics, operations, procurement, or supply chain management. Some have online programs, and many of them are for short, on-campus executive education courses. Finding these programs isn't always easy. You can start your search by looking at some of the schools that have been leaders in the field of supply chain education. Some examples include MIT, Stanford, Michigan State, Penn State, University of Tennessee, North Carolina State, Arizona State, The Ohio State University, and Cranfield University. While that isn't a complete list, it's enough to get you started. One of the things that I really like about on-campus executive education programs is the opportunity to meet and build relationships with supply chain researchers as well as professionals from other companies and other industries.
