So there are always vendors at the pier hawking I heart S.F. sweatshirts. That's product market fit. To succeed in building any business you need to have product market fit. This means you need to understand who would want to buy whatever you're selling. This is true for sweatshirts but it's also true for advice and subject matter expertise. What do you have to offer and who would buy it? There are two kinds of value consultants offer. One is process expertise and the other is subject matter expertise.
