- Often your physical location will determine the way in which you use your phone. For example, at work I might be much more likely to check email or make a phone call, or use a company mandated app. But at home, I'm probably more likely to play games or watch videos. Part of reducing distraction is making sure you use the right app for the right location. This will help you focus more at work and find enjoyment and satisfaction when it's time to relax. Let's look at the "Location and Phone Use" worksheet. At the top you'll begin by listing apps that you use at any time, regardless of where you are. For example, my all-the-time apps are my calendar, calculator, heath-tracking apps, maps, photos, and so on. Whatever apps come to your mind, list those here. You can add more later.
