- Learning how to keep things simple actually took me a while to get a good grasp of. It had always been something that sounded like a great idea but it sure was tough to accomplish. As a salesperson you have to learn how to keep things simple and you work uncluttered so you can focus on the needs of the customer and the goal of a sale. It really can be true that the fastest way to a solution or getting a task done is just by going with your instinct, making an educated decision, and then taking the necessary steps to accomplish the task. It might just take two minutes, however, through years of sitting in long meetings, books we've read, and speeches we've heard by experts about managing or running a business, we often make the most simple decisions really complicated.
