- Hi guys, Barb here. I'm going to talk to you now about wrist and arm pain or troubleshooting wrist and arm pain. A lot of times we're at work and we don't even realize why we're having discomfort, so I'm going to review some of the most common actions that I see people engaged in that might be contributing to wrist and arm pain. The most common thing that I see is that people are working with their keyboards in the extended position. If you didn't realize this, your keyboards have these little feet on the back and you can just flip them down to make the keyboard be in a more flat or neutral position. When the keyboard is tilted up, it puts your wrists in extension and you're working with your wrists in a sustained extension and that can lead to arm pain here. This is typically called tennis elbow or you might have pain in the forearm and this is typically called golfer's elbow.
