Treetop vision, values, and mission

(upbeat music) - Hi there, welcome back. All right, well so far we've learned how to define the mission, values, and vision for any organization. Now, in this module we're going to tie it all together as we learn how our friends over at Treetop Incorporated approached the start of their hoshin planning process. Now, Treetop produces and sells birdhouses of different styles and configurations. Now then, the first thing the Treetop team did, was work to refine their company mission. But after conducting customer, and employee interviews, coupled with lots of excellent internal discussion, the team came up with the following mission statement: Now Treetop is focused on delivering robust consumer level birdhouses to homeowners and small businesses through their affordable, reliable, and visually appealing products.
