- The sisterhood in journalism is incredibly powerful and I've been a journalist now for two decades and I already see that we are at a transformational moment. For the first time in CBS history, we have a female president, Susan Zirinsky, and I've never seen this organization so energized. The world is changing. They say the future is female, I feel like the present is starting to be female. Now, for the first time we have three women leading the broadcast morning shows. Morning television, one of the crown jewels of broadcast journalism, and now women are executive producers of that show. If that doesn't give you goosebumps, it gives me goosebumps just to say it. I mean, that means change is happening.
