Tips for communicating during a crisis

- Okay, you've implemented the crisis PR plan and everything's underway. And don't forget, it's not a set of forget scenario here, you've got to actually continue to manage the crisis PR plan as it's underway. And there's three good ways to do that. First, have a daily huddle. Put something on the calendar, maybe first thing in the morning with your other leaders, and get together to talk about what's changed, what's updated, what are the new numbers, what are the new dynamics. And that will ensure that when you implement that in your crisis PR plan, that you'll be able to keep it current and relevant. Now, in the beginning you're probably going to have multiple meetings a day, but over time, you can keep that to daily or maybe even every other day as things start to subside.
