Three types of emails

- There are basically three kinds of emails. The first is inquiry emails, and those are usually one-to-one emails where you're asking someone for something. Next is transactional or informational emails. Those are pretty straightforward. Here's your thing. Lastly, there's marketing and sales emails. Those are about customers getting to know your business and getting them to buy something. When you're using email, you need to be clear about what kind of email you're writing and why, and you may not have thought about how that affects the most important part of your email, the subject line. A good subject line is everything. It'll make or break you. So, what is the purpose of a subject line? It's to get them to open the email. And the purpose of the first sentence of the email is to get them to read the second sentence of the email and the purpose of the second sentence is to get them to read the third one and so on.…
