- [Announcer] Thinking like a journalist is number one, you have to act like you know what you're doing, and you have to act like you've researched these places and publications with a fine tooth comb. Nobody's going to want to feature you if you don't know their audience, the type of stories they cover, and you're pitching them a story that isn't actually a fit with their audience. It's very easy to get into the no pile. And we want to put you into the yes pile. When editors and journalists begin to feature you and your ideas and articles in mentions, you'll see that that media train is going. It gets exciting because once you get there one, you want another one. The key is to learn how to come up with great creative items to present to the media, that are newsworthy and timely.
