- I'm a fan of Jerry Seinfeld. In his documentary, Comedian, I learned how much he tests his jokes and continues to revise and test them until he knows they'll work. Like Seinfeld, the best public speakers don't wing it. They test their stories and messages ahead of time and of course they practice, a lot. By the time they step on stage, they already know their talk is going to engage and resonate with their audience. Think now about a technical presentation you have coming up. If you have a story you want to use, are you sure your audience will love it? Really sure? Well, you can be and I'll help you get there. Here is what you'll want to do.
