- When constant change impacts your brain, it's as if you're in the midst of a tornado. If it's not the next new social media network, a new work policy, or a change in strategic direction. There's always something that you have to adapt to. It's important to know what happens in your brain when you deal with change, so let's look at what you can do change your brain to manage change successfully. I recently worked with the senior leadership team of a pharmaceutical company. They were leading an initiative in digital transformation and finding that employees were very resistant to change. The company was using a new team management platform to manage workflow and enhance collaboration. But instead people dug their heels in and said, "not one more change." so, leadership wanted to know how they could encourage their teams to embrace the new platform.
