- If you're a hard worker, anxious to make a good first impression, and eager to make an impact, it can be tempting to say yes to everything that crosses your desk. While it's important to get into the swing of things as quickly as possible, and be open to learning as much as you can, be careful to avoid the common mistake of taking on too much, too soon.
