- With application approved and studying complete, it's now time to finally take your CBAP examination. Let's talk now about before the exam, during the exam and after the exam. Some practical things to remember when scheduling your exam is to start with yourself. First, give yourself enough time to finish studying but not too much time that you get burnt out. Two weeks is what most people prefer for final studying time before taking the exam. Then, consider what time of day you work best. Most exams can be scheduled in morning or afternoon. Be mindful if you are a morning person or you really get focused after lunch. You will be in there for over three and a half hours so you want to be your best. The day of examination, make sure to leave with plenty of time so that you're not late and feel rushed or stressed. If you need your morning cup of coffee, make sure to get it.
