- Where do you draw the line between making money for your company and being fair to your suppliers that deserve to earn a fair profit as well? That's what we'll explore in this video, by looking at several potential conflicts. So, imagine a company that makes and sells car parts. Now, they obviously have to buy a lot of raw materials to make all of those parts, and the person in charge of buying all that stuff at the best price is a guy named Jerry. And Jerry's very good at his job. In fact, he's got a reputation in the industry for being able to get better prices than anyone else. So, at a recent industry conference he was having lunch with some of the other purchasing people and they asked him what his secret was. He said he actually has four.
