- Let's say we've recorded a macro. That code is somewhere. Let's look at the code in this video step through it from a very general sense. We're not going to go in to learning code, but it's important to know where it is and just get introduced to it. All right, let's have a look at it. Now we're going to step through some code and we're going to open the StepThrough.xlsm file. And remember, XLSM means that that's an Excel workbook with a macro in it. Double click. Sometimes you'll get a yellow bar across the top of the worksheet saying that macros have been disabled. You can press the button to enable but only if you trust that macro, is a safety feature so if case you've opened the workbook and it has that yellow bar, is okay.
