Starcom Serves: Giving back
- We created Starcom Serves to really contribute to the community that contributes to us. So, we have a day a year and there's a lot of work that goes around the day. People contribute to their communities all across the year, but we have one special day that each office, so, New York, Detroit, Chicago, and LA, all go out into the community. In Chicago, I think we had 16 school buses full of people, 50 people on each bus. We went to schools in Chicago, we painted schools, we put together gardens, and we worked with the teachers. We go to YMCA camps and we put on a whole program for them. We tutor kids in, mostly junior high kids, and high school kids in terms of their studies, but also how to apply for jobs, what colleges to look at. We work at Cradles for Crayons which is a great organization that collects all sorts of goods mostly around clothing but also backpacks, and we fill up backpacks so that all the kids'…
