- Stakeholder engagement is the concept of figuring out all the people that you need to line up and speak to about a big idea or about something you're involved in. Far too often, people rely on just their manager to know what their value is. My manager knows that I was the key player in this project and how many hours I worked on it. But your manager probably has a team of people to talk about to those senior to them. How can you also build those relationships with people that have influence and tenure? How can you reach out to team members throughout your organization, different departments, and talk about your successes while asking them about theirs?
